Should You Buy One Of The Brinkmann Gas Grills

When you are in the market for a new gas grill, there are many to choose from.

Many of the gas grills you will see when shopping have very recognizable brand names such as Weber, Sunbeam and Jenn Aire.

There is one brand that we will be looking at in this article that you may not have heard of, that is Brinkman gas grills.

The first thing too recommend about Brinkman gas grills is the price. They are one of the least expensive gas grills on the market.

Now price isn’t always the main thing you should be concerned with, but we talking about grills and not plastic surgery, so in this case price is a consideration.

The question is can a lower priced grill meet your grilling needs?

In the case of Brinkman gas grills the answer is yes and no.

I’m like everyone else, I like a bargain, at least until I start having problems with the item I purchased and a grill is no exception.

The first thing I noticed about the Brinkman grill is it lacks a thermometer. It is easy to miss this, because I just assumed that all grills have this feature.

It seems strange considering all of the features it does come with, that they would leave this very important one off.

Come on, this should be right up their with an igniter in importance. How can you judge your cooking time if you don’t know the grills temperature.

The fact that they have a limited warranty also makes me wonder if Brinkman gas grills are prone to problems after they have been used for a while.

Now my complaint about the missing thermometer may be petty, but I have heard that Brinkmans have been known to rust.

There have also been some complaints by consumers, that the igniters do not last as long as the ones on other brands.

The durability has been questioned, and I can see myself after a couple of years of use, pulling a rattling, shaky, old looking grill down my driveway to the curb for the trashman to take.

My guess is that if you can only afford an inexpensive grill, and you store it out of the weather and use it sparingly, one of these Brinkman gas grills might work for you.

But when it comes to spending my hard earned money on a grill, I think I’ll pass on this brand.
